Royal Society event at Buckingham Palace

16 Jun 2016

On the 13th July HRH the Duke of York will be hosting afternoon tea for a small number of University Research Fellows and Dorothy Hodgkin Fellows at Buckingham Palace. His Royal Highness the Duke of York has taken a real interest in the work of the Society and particularly our early career researchers. HRH has kindly offered to host these events at Buckingham Palace for newly appointed Royal Society Research Fellows each year. The event is an opportunity for HRH to find out more about the research of some of our best young scientists and provides the opportunity for the researchers to raise with him the difficulties faced by today’s early career researchers.

Krishnan Bhaskaran has been privileged to be invited to this prestigious event.
